| The Armenian Independence Day is celebrated on September 21st of every year. It is official holiday of Armenia. In 1991 a national referendum proclaimed the independence of Armenia from the Soviet Union. The Armenia gained their independence in accordance with the letter of law. The Armenia people dream was ensuring the invincibility of its independence in future. In 1991 the external hindrances to independence were overcome. And this day is not far, and it will become the day of rebirth of our independence. An Independence Day is an annual celebration commemorating the anniversary of a nation's assumption of independent statehood. This festival begins with national anthem and thousands of people are celebrates Armenian independence Day. Today they are performing traditional dances and songs. |
