| The Caricom Day is celebrated for the month of July of each year in Antigua. The Antigua, in July commemorates the treaty establishing the Caribbean Community and Common Market (CARICOM), also called the Treaty of Chaguaramas. Caricom was started on 1963 under the Caribbean Free Trade Area and came and signed on July 1973. So the day is called CARICOM Day. It is public holiday of Antigua. In this day the country people feel a profound satisfaction of the development of friendship, respect and cooperation’s. So that’s way increased in leaps and bounds over the years, and at the same time much confidence in the continuing and future development of country. |
