| The Republic Day is celebrated on November 28th of every year in Burundi. The Burundi is a small Republic country. The Twa, Tutsi, and Hutu peoples have occupied Burundi since the country's formation five centuries ago. Beginning of the twentieth century, Germany and Belgium occupied the Region. The Burundi and Rwanda became a European colony known as Ruanda-Urundi. In middle 20th century the Tutsi and Hutu, provoking civil war in Burundi. Now presently, Burundi is governed as a presidential representative democratic republic. Republic Day is the name of a public holiday in several countries to commemorate the day when they became republics. |
