| The Day of the French Community of Belgium is celebrated on September 27th of each year. It is one the three official communities in Belgium along with the French Community. The French-speaking Community of Belgium celebrates its culture with a range of different events. The French Community of Belgium is rather not a group of people or inhabitants, but an official institution which refers to French-speaking Belgian citizens. The official flag is also the official flag of Wallonia where 80% of the citizens live. The competences of the Council and the Government of the French-speaking Community are defined by the Federal Constitution of Belgium, adopted on 17 February 1994. The Day of the French Community of Belgium held in other towns with theatres and cultural centers of the French Community opening their doors. |
