| About Liberation Day |
| March 3rd is a National Holiday for the Bulgarians as they celebrate the anniversary of Liberation day. The flag hoisting ceremony will be held in Sofia with the participation of Bulgaria's President and the Speaker of the Parliament. The liberation day has been celebrated traditionally all over the country especially in towns and cities commemorating the battles of Russian and Bulgarian soldiers in the Liberation War in 1877-1878. Every year on March 3rd this celebrations will be held. This is a public holiday in Bulgaria.
