In 1969 it became a part of the Commonwealth. Finally in 1973, the people of the Bahamas earned their much desired independence from British rule. In this country celebration of Independence Day on 10th July from 6 o'clock in the evening that lasts till midnight. Today they will decorated the schools, colleges and government buildings and celebrate the Independence Day. |
