| The Victory Day is celebrated on May 9th of every year in Belarus. It is a national holiday. It is a special day for Belarus. In 1940 the people in the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, May 9 marked their reincorporation into the Soviet Union, into which they were initially absorbed. In Belarusians May 9, 1945 is a historical date commemorating a final victory over fascism as a deadly threat to the civilized world. In this day the Belarusian people all celebrations is the City of Minsk, where they stage military parades, air shows, war veteran marches and nighttime fireworks. The Victory Day is celebrated in every village and town of Belarus. |
