The Commonwealth Day is celebrated on May 24th of every year in Belize. This day is birthday of Queen Victoria. In 1901, Queen Victoria died, her birthday 24th May. Was made an annual commemoration under the name Empire Day. In this day displays fireworks and attending community bonfires. It gave the Queen's people a chance to show their pride in being part of the British Empire. In 1958 Empire Day was renamed Commonwealth Day. The Commonwealth Day should be observed on the same day throughout all countries of the Commonwealth.
