| About Halloween |
| Halloween is celebrated on October 31st of every year in Brazil. Today the Brazilian people were painted and masked faces all anticipating the shower of candies and chips that will surely come their way. Children do go from door to door. They stretch out their hands and are rewarded with candy and sweets. International companies have led the way in promoting Halloween parties in metropolitan areas in Brazil. The Halloween is a dark and stormy night of Brazil. Halloween is called as Dia das Bruxas in Brazil. This celebration takes place in the small villages where everyone knows everyone and is related to some extent, so it is quite normal to give fresh fruit, nuts and cakes to the children. It is not a holiday but it's commonly celebrated on the largest cities at October 31st night, with several Halloween parties. Kids don't do Trick-or-Treat this day. |
