| The National Day is celebrated on February 23rd of every year in Brunei. It is also called as Independence Day. It is observed to the Brunei got independence from Britain in 1984. So the country people celebrate this day is a National Day. This is a national holiday of Brunei. Actually this ceremony was on the February 24th but the event was moved because the 23rd was a Friday, a non working day. After 1984, marked Brunei was an Independent country. Official Independence Day is celebrations and live musical concerts. Independence Day is starts with flag rising. In this day they were celebrated speeches of the Hassanal National Stadium, at the end of the parade was the recitation of the pledge and a performance. |
