| May 1st is a national holiday in Central African Republic. It is a first day of the month of May. Most countries celebrate Labour Day in May and some countries celebrate it in different dates. Labour Day is honoring labours. It is a memorial or reminder of the Workers' Movement. It’s celebrated by workers for their economic and social achievements that contributed to the development of society. This day is celebrated in remembrance of the eight hour day movement which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation and eight hours for rest. This day is also known as International Workers' Day or May Day. |
