This day many people gather to wish each other a happy and prosperous coming year. Usually Chinese New Year is starts with the New Moon on the first day of the New Year and ends on the full moon 15 days later. New Year Day is the most universal holiday. On this day they are participates in dragon dancing, lion dancing and folk dances and other activities in China. |
