| About Army Day |
| The Army Day is celebrated on November 17th of every year in Congo. In some places, soldiers and their dependents are rewarded with the opportunity to visit tourist attractions for free while some are presented with beneficial books to mark the occasion. It is a national holiday. Among the participants of this glorious day were high-ranking government officials and military officers, foreign defense attaches and Congo community leaders. Several other smaller parades can be seen on other cities of the country, as well as air displays by the air force. Army Day is commemorated to salute the valiant soldiers of Congo. This is to honor the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives to protect Congo and the people. |
