Celebrating the day in 1973 when combined Egyptian and Syrian forces launched a surprise attack on Israel and crossed into the Sinai Peninsula. So this marked the beginning of the October War. On this day the soldiers carry colored flags and march in different formations. A group of people stands and hold up colored squares and change them to make pictures or nice words, like the Olympics.
