| Father’s day is celebrated on the 19th of March in Spain. It falls on St. Joseph’s day since the Catholic Church holds a significant influence on its culture. Most people around the world celebrate Father's Day, but the dates to honor dads are not the same everywhere. The celebration of the Fathers Day in Spain goes back to the mid-twentieth century. On Fathers Day though all things was put aside to celebrate and give thanks. Good food was always made regardless to the family’s finances and a celebration that would last at least six hours was mandatory. |
