| About The 'Ochi day' |
| The Ochi Day is being celebrated on October 28th and declared a national holiday in Greece. The reason for celebration is to dedicate or memorize the lives of those Greeks who lost their lives during the Second World War and the Greek civil war of 1946-48. On this occasion the school children and the bands will go through the street holding the Greek flags in their hands remembering the freedom fighters and their contributions for getting the Independence. |
