| About Martyrdom of Imam Jafar |
| Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S) was the sixth Imam of Shiate world. He attained martyrdom on the 25th Shawwal 14 A.H. After the martyrdom of his respected father, Imam Mohammed Baqir, he undertook the flag of the guidance of Islamic hat ion for 34 years. On this occasion celebrates with sorrow and grief in the household of the Prophet. He was buried in the cemetery of Baqi. Imam Jafar as Sadiq (AS) laid the foundation of the Islamic University to combat against this dangerous imperialistic belief. He was fully versed with Divine Knowledge in his childhood as are all Imams (A.S.). |
