Between 1000 and 4000BC, South Americans first settled in Jamaica island. The occupation of the island and full control took place to the Spain, when Christopher Columbus arrival in Jamaica in 1494. After Columbus death, the country is under struggled with slavery, disease or war. It was the first African slaves to Jamaica. After few decades, Spanish Town is making as the capital of Jamaica. After 100 years of struggle Jamaica got independence the largest city Kingston of Jamaica became the capital.
