The Constitution Day is celebrated all over Kazakhstan. The Constitution Day is celebrated on August 30th Annually. It is the last Soviet republics to get freedom in Dec, 1991. On this day the Kazakhstan declared holiday. After four years constitution was adopted on August 30, 1995. Before it became a democracy, it is under communism. Even though it got the independence, it’s political and economy system was the old from the Soviet Union days. Democracy in Kazakhstan is fighting against the early communist perception. Constitution contains 4 articles. It gives the power to the government and establishes the structure and duties to the Government. It declares that the country as a ‘secular democratic’ according to the 1st article of the constitution of Kazakhstan. The country is secular democratic country and a unitary country. The Constitution gives the power to the civilians of Kazakhstan, vote in referendum to derive the Government’s power. The Power of the civilians of the state to vote is referendum to the government.
