| About Human Rights Day |
| To commemorate International Human Rights Day on December 10 of every year. December 10 marks the day that, in 1948 in Paris, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which outlines the fundamental rights enjoyed by all human beings. The date was chosen to honour the United Nations General Assembly's adoption and proclamation. The commemoration was established in 1950, when the General Assembly invited all states and interested organizations to celebrate the day as they saw fit. This day Cambodians gathering at the National Stadium with more than 5,000 people celebrate this event. In this day Saluting National Anthem and dancers are performing for the opening of the event. |
