About Limba Noastra
Limba Noastra is the national anthem of the Republic of the Republic of Moldova, means that “Our Language”, which is celebrated on 31st of Aug annually, which is also known as National Language Day. Its official anthem was Desteapta-te, române!, which is also the national anthem of Romania. The national anthem is primary focus on the state language of Moldova. The lyrics are from Alexei Mateevici and the music was composed by Alexandru Cristea. The original poem contains twelve stanzas, five of which have been kept for the anthem. Since 31st August of 1989 become the Limba Noastra holiday in Moldova. “Moldavian” which is the local language is to be banned in 1871, until the collapse of the Russian Empire in 1917.
