| Anniversary of the Oil Expropriation is celebrated on 18th March of each year in Mexico. It is the expropriation of all oil reserves, facilities, and foreign oil companies in 1938. On August 16, 1935, the Petroleum Workers Union of Mexico demanded the petroleum companies that a 40 hour working week and a complete paid salary in the event of sickness. After two years, it is published regularly press releases, pamphlets, news letters, appendices, magazines and books delivered at no charge.
