| Mexican Independence Day is celebrated on September 16th of each year. The celebrations begin on September 15th at 11 pm in every single city and town in Mexico. The Mexican Flag is made up of green, white, and red. The green is on the left side of the flag and symbolizes independence. White is the color in the middle of the flag and symbolizes religion. The red is on the right side of the flag and symbolizes union and the statues of Father Hidalgo are decorated with red, white, and green flowers. On Mexican Independence Day fiesta there are many things appear like a fiesta, colorful parades, music, dancing, eating spicy food, drinking strong drinks, bullfights, rodeos, and fireworks. Mexican Independence is celebrated every year to remember the struggle for freedom. |
