About Macedonian Revolutionary Struggle
The Struggle for Macedonia was military conflict between Balkan nations for region of Macedonia. It is during the period 1904-1908. During the 20th century Bulgarians and the Turkish forces occupied Macedonia. In 1897 the Greece in Greco-Turkish War was loss; nationalist organization Ethniki Etairia was considered to be responsible. Since 1899, the Macedonians turned with the slogan “autonomy for Macedonia” against Ottoman authorities. The IMRO’s wanted to creation of an independent “Soviet Macedonia” within a Balkan Federation. In July 1908, the conflicts ended after the revolution of “Young Turks” as they promised to provide constitution.
