| The revolution Day in Macedonia celebrates on 11 October of every year. The Macedonia was part of Yugoslavia until Yugoslavia was reestablished. Until 1941 the territory of Vardar Macedonia remained within Yugoslavia. After the Second World War on September 1, 1939, the Macedonians inspired and seek ways for the liberation of Macedonia. When the defeat on the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, the Macedonians refused to fight. After the military Bulgarian coup defeat in 1934, the new Bulgarian government banned IMRO as a terrorist organization. Hence it stops activities. In 1941, the regional committee of Communist party of Yugoslavia was issued, disobeyed the orders. In 1939 the CPY started imposing the idea of formation of a Macedonian state. But in Vardar Macedonia there was no resistance movement. In 1942, the regional military head quarters worked on the creation of new partisan detachments across the Vardar Macedonia. Till end of the 1942 there are several detachments were formed. |
