| About Women's Day |
| Each year, on April 7th Mozambicans celebrate the national Woman's Day and honour the gallant fighter Josina Machel, who died on 7 April 1970. On the same day is coinciding with the first female Prime Minister in Africa in 1994. This is the day that politician Mahatma Gandhi suspended his campaign of civil disobedience in India in 1934.
