It is the Solidarity movement in Poland. It's milestone of Poland country. Solidarity movement began August 14, 1980 the workers went on strike that day. On the August 16th other committees added their strike. The Polish government, facing economic crisis in July of 1980, With the workers strike Spread all over Country it effected a lot. With in days Poland was most effected with this strike. These demands are improvement of Churches, National health system & freeing of political prisoners. After that National strike was declared. So, August 31st declared as a Day of Solidarity and Freedom.
