It comes between January and February. This period started at six weeks before Easter in Church calendar. In some places it started as early November. They recalling the biblical account of the forty days, during Lent they don’t take any meat, dairy, fats and sugar. They celebrated it is a complete Traditional way. Most Countries celebrated this festival . In India Goa also celebrated this festival in traditional way. |
