| It is the symbolic end of World War I. It is celebrated on 11th November in 1918 and V-E day is also called as a Armistice Day. The date was declared as a National holiday in many countries. In some countries the name was changed Veterans Day or Remembrance Day etc,. In Belgium it is a official holiday. In this 20 million people were died, many people of the world wide take a two minutes “moment of silence” for them. In Germany it was celebrated in fifth Sunday before Easter. But , later it was changed now they celebrated two Sundays. |
