| National Anthem Day of Romania is July 29th. It is a public holiday. Romania's national anthem is "Desteapta-te, romane" , that means "Awaken, Romanian!". In 1848 Revolution of Romania time the Anthem was written and published. That time the anthem was sang or hummed it was heavy punishable. In 1989 anti-Communist revolution was came in Romania. The large group spontaneously sang the anthem. After that it became National Anthem of Romania. The song contain some message. The main message of anthem is for action. Now they celebrated July 29th National Anthem day or Flag day. |
