| December 1st is the National holiday of Romania. It is a public holiday. It is called as a Great Union Day. This holiday comes after Revolution of Romania in 1989. Later the date was a lot changed, in 1877 Independence was Declared so, they thought national day set to be on 10th May and Communist Romania, the date was set to August 23. At last, in 1918 December 1st The National Assembly of Romania was established. The Assembly was conditional, democratic local autonomy. Romania newly established parliament is celled Transylvania. |
