It is also known as Radio Day or Communications Workers' Day. It was the invention of Radio on May 7th , 1895. It was the great day for Russians. In 1895 on that day Alexander Popov is gave the demonstrated successfully. But in 1896 the Radio patent was received by Marconi. Based on that demonstration so many changes occurred in later. Popov's remembrance the Radio day was celebrated by Russia and Bulgaria. Radio day was officially celebrated these countries. The first Radio day was celebrated the Soviet Union in 1945.
