| Russia day is the newest holiday in Russia. Russia day is a National holiday, it is celebrated on June 12. In 1994 this holiday was declared official holiday. Initially its name was "Day of the adoption of the Declaration of Sovereignty of the Russian Federation" after that in 2002 February 1st it was renamed as a "Russia Day". It also has named as a "Russia Independence Day", but its not declared as a official. Most Russians didn’t accept its not true holiday for them. It have an odd history and its celebrated in a traditional way. |
