| Belgrade - Serbian partygoers and caterers happily exploit an atavistic calendar to celebrate New Year's parties on December 31 and January 13, with an Orthodox Christmas in between. Celebrations were arranged in all bigger towns of Serbia as well as ski resorts on Mt Zlatibor, Tara, Zlatar and Mokra Gora.Several thousands of aficionados of electronic music celebrated in the Belgrade Arena. Most restaurants, cafes and clubs were packed with guests, with what reporters describe as "hot atmosphere", in stark contrast to the weather, which saw the temperatures in the Serbian capital drop to minus ten degrees centigrade.
