| About Dia de la Raza |
| The Dia de la Raza means Day of the Race. It is celebrated on October 12th of every year in El Salvador. Traditionally it is day of rest in El Salvador and does not have much importance except to highlight that any other official children love the school and some sets off events. The original culture was destroyed, the result is the mix and the birth of a new race, we could also call it the "Day of Mestizaje". In 1913 was called Feast of the race until 1915 and is celebrated the first day of the race in Argentina and was later adopted by countries Varos. This was not the meeting of two cultures, but rather was the trampling of a culture warrior and less naive for a better armed and malicious. It is a national holiday of El Salvador. |
