| The National Flag Day of the Swaziland is celebrated on 25th April. A flag day is a flag related holiday either a day designated for flying a certain flag or a day set aside to celebrate a historical event such as a nation's adoption of its flag.Flag days are usually codified in national statutes, however, in some countries a decree by the head of state can also order a flag day. The flag is still more than a historical symbol: it is part of our culture. In our schools children pledge allegiance for our flag and recite the ideals upon which our Nation was founded. Families sit on their front porches under a billowing Stars and Stripes. |
