| It’s Labor Day in France, or La Fête du Travail. May 1st is a national holiday in Central African Republic. It is a feast of workers. Labour Day is an important event of the contribution to society of all working people. Labour Day celebrated on May 1st of every year. This is still very much the feeling behind Fete de Travail. Labour Day is honoring organized by labours. Everyone takes a break from work, which all can appreciate. In this evening there are lucky people reading this right now who will find their way into a traditional French bistro or sidewalk café. It’s celebrated to the workers of economic and social achievements. Today almost people are known as International Workers' Day or May Day. The celebration of Labour Day has its origins in the eight hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest. |
