| Uzbekistan officially known as the Republic of Uzbekistan is called in native Uzbek language as O‘zbekiston Respublikasi. The Republic of Uzbekistan celebrates its Constitution Day on 8th of December. Uzbekistan got its independence from Russia in September 1, 1991. On 8th December 1992, the Oliy Majlis accepted the constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Then after from on every 8th of December in each year Uzbekistan celebrates it’s Constitution Day. This day commemorates the constitution of Uzbekistan in 1951 which set up a collegiate form of government. According to Uzbeks the constitution is the main law of the state, the document which possesses a high validity. This holiday is celebrated across all Uzbekistan and carries out various actions devoted to the constitution day. |
