| The Birth Virgin Mary is celebrated on 8th September. The virgin birth of Jesus is a religious tenet of the Christianity and Islam which holds that Mary miraculously conceived Jesus while remaining a virgin. The Feast of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary (September 8th) has been celebrated in the Church. The Church's calendar observes the birthdays of only two saints: Saint John the Baptist (June 24), and Mary, Mother of Jesus. On 8th September the Church in the both east and west remembers the birth of Mary, mother of Jesus.Matthew states that the virgin “was found with child of the Holy Ghost” also teaches the Virgin Birth: "God sent forth His Son, made of a woman." |
