About Lailat-al-Qadr
Laylat al-Qadr basically the Night of Decree or Night of Measures is the anniversary of two very important dates in Islam that occurred in the month of Ramadan. Laylat al-Qadr is the anniversary of the night Muslims believe the first verses of the Qur'an were revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Muslims regard this as the most important event in history and the Qur'an says that this night is better than a thousand months and that on this night the angels descend to earth. Lailat al Qadr takes place during Ramadan. The whole month of the Ramadan is a time of renewal and the reflection. During the last ten days of Ramadan, Muslims seek and observe the Night of Power.
