| Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feast which is always celebrated on the Sunday before the Easter Sunday. Palm Sunday, often referred to as "Passion Sunday," marks the beginning of Holy Week, which concludes on Easter Sunday. In many Christian churches, Palm Sunday is marked by the distribution of palm leaves to the assembled worshipers. In many churches, during the Palm Sunday services, large palm branches are carried in processions.
