About Solemnity Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi is a Christian feast commemorating the institution of the Holy Eucharist. It occurs on the first Thursday following Trinity Sunday. Solemnity Corpus Christi became a mandatory feast in the Roman Church in 1312.
