| About Solemnity Holy Trinity |
| Trinity Sunday is also known as Holy Trinity Sunday, it is celebrated a week after Pentecost Sunday. The feast of the Solemnity Holy Trinity is first introduced in the 9th century and was only made part of the general calendar of the Church in the 14th century by Pope John XXII. The Holy Trinity can be observed in the Gospel through the words of our Lord. The one God in three persons. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit live eternally, love eternally and pour out divine love and life in the world through the Body of Christ, the Church. Trinity Sunday is celebrated in all the churches, but the dates may not correspond, depending on which calendar is used. The Feast of Corpus Christi is celebrated on the Thursday following Trinity Sunday. |
